    I have several years of experience in Lan managing and be layman in programming,I want to learn Java,should I begin with MS Visual J++? or,
    other pure java books? Thanks in advance.

      For editors, you can download FORTE FOR JAVA from SUN, JBUILDER from BORLAND, VISUAL AGE FOR JAVA from IBM....

      Be sure to use English Java books. Otherwise, you will be in big trouble in communicating with people.

      You can dowload many Java tutorial from SUN's site.
