If the page is completely build within one huge table (with nested table) in HTML, IE will not process until the whole HTML is loaded. So sometimes there is connection error or sometimes you have to wait -jeffrey815(Smartiecat); 2001-12-24 {241} (#310312@0)
long enough for it to process (if your computer is really slow and the page is very nested in HTML).

Another problem may be the encoding is different. But since refresh can solve your problem, it should be the situation I described above.
