Find the cable that goes into your landowner's TV and split it in two. If it works, split the cable again and again. If the signal get too weak, you'll need to amplify it with something, an amplifier or an atenna($40).

it's a sattelite we were talking about, not cable. Even for cable, nearly every Chinese who is sharing house/apartment is sharing cable. You hear anyone caught? And how about a family having two TV's?

You mean the box? But in most cases, there's no box at all. Anyway, I dare in most household and apt units, there are more than one TV connected to a signal cable outlet on the wall.
