    1.Today's nuclear fission fuels are the remnants of (which) used to be a (much more) active mixture of radioactive and fissionable materials two billion (years ago) and (earlier).
    2.Petrography (concerns) primarily with the detailed (description) and classification of rocks, (whereas) petrology deals primarily with rock (formation).
    • 1.which->what,2我也迷惑啊,formation->formations?
    • 2. concerns should be deals. The verb should be the same as the verb in the second part of the sentence "deals" because there is a "whereas" that indicates the comparison between petrography and petrology.
    • On second thoughts, I feel the answer for No.2 is D, so that the structure will be parallel. That is: description and classification of rocks, So (D) THE FORMATION OF rock(s).
      But not sure. Tell us the correct answer if you know.
