    各位前辈:
    我现在有个问题很迷惑:
    我男朋友于去年十一月一号在加拿大递交了申请, 现在已经批准,
    当时我们是以未婚配偶的身份申请的, 后来ROLIA上的好多哥哥姐姐告诉我们那样团聚会很慢, 所以我们要马上结婚, 计划在本月结婚,
    问题是我们结婚后把结婚证书公证,和其他资料一起寄给北京使馆,
    可是加拿大移民中心给我的申请表是未婚配偶的表格呀,我现在结婚了该怎么办?是否要做什么声明和向使馆说明什么?
    该怎么做???????, 现在时间又很紧急, 烦请好心的哥哥姐姐告诉我!

        哥哥您说的是真的吗?
        我老公他问过了,可是移民中心说我们结婚后把结婚证书公证后寄给他们就可以了,我老公他是加国公民身份,所以他做了单身证明,但是今天我柏柏说民政局还要把他的单身证明和护照给加驻中国领事馆检查, 有这么一挡子事吗?
        他只请了十天假呀,
        还有就是怎么很多人交北京资料时不一样呀:
        一个人说她还交了老公的公民卡公证(在哪边办的)
        老公的护照公证?
        真的小妹快迷糊了,我就要结婚了也要交表了可是我还什么都搞不清,

          1. For Canadian citizen to get married with Chinese, (This is the law of China), he will need:
          A. Proof that he is single, it needs to be notarized by public notary (most of the lawyers can do it).
          B. The English copy need to be sent to Provincial notary office sent from your lawyer directly. (not from you)
          C. After all the notarization is done, he need to bring it to China embassy to have it translated and certified by China embassy in the city where he lived.
          D. With the certified copy from China embassy and bring back to China, he will be able to marry with you. (note: the certificate is only 6 months valid, and normally it takes about 1 month for step A to C to be completed.

          2. For the nortarized passport copy, he should have alredy done it when you send in the application when applying as fiancee. (If it is required, he has to do it here for every pages of the passport even it is blank). No notary office in China will be able to notarize Canadian passport.

          3. Citizenship card notarization is not required. Just photocopy will be okay.

              本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛If you have not sent in your application as fiancee then your husband need to prepare all the documents that is required in the family class immigration form. (There is a checklist come with the application form, you need to make sure you have all documents ready to avoid any delay). Also you need to complete the questionnaire (which is different based on the location you apply, BJ and HK will be different, it should come with the application for). It does not matter your husband apply you as fiancee when sending the sponsorship to CIC. Just enclose your marriage certificate and other docuemnts with the application form. One thing to remind you is that if your husband has never been visited China before using his Canadia passport then it is better to do the passport notarization after he comes back. (Because it will show when he visit China and when he left). Also if you have letters, email, chat log (ICQ, OICQ, Yahoo Messenger, MSN messenger), phone bill from both parties, mail it to the visa office you apply for.                 my boyfriend had been to china twice in past four years. he went to china last year , how deal with the passport? we will hand in all documents after marriage, though we have hundreds emails , fifty letters, yahoo messengae record, and a lot of old pics, but the mian is my boyfriend would not be ready for his all documents, passport notarization,his birth certificate,certified ture of citizenship certificate,certificated ture copy of all thepages of any passport has used to travel to the prc and include blank pages,

                  全本護照公證只需找具公證人資格的律師做,先約好,應該一兩個小時就能拿到!如果還有其他證件需要公證來不及的話,可以等到他回加拿大後公證後再寄給妳,結婚後,妳們也得辦結婚的翻譯與公證(任何文件不是英文的均需翻譯與公證)!最好是所有文件齊全後再一起寄到BJ加拿大大使館,因為目前你們不會馬上拿到檔案號,如果只是寄了一部分文件,再補寄其他,大使館很難找到你們原來申請的那部份文件!在北京大使館要求的文件中,公民證只需要影印本即可!(Please do read the BJ visa requirement carefully to avoid any delay)
                  如果妳未婚夫曾經回過中國好幾次,而且其他文件也能準備好的話,你們可以考慮盡快寄出申請書,而無須等到他回加拿大後再寄給妳!同時我記得出生證明並非必須,詳細文件要求還是得好好看看Document Checklist的!

                  別忘了中國對外國人與中國公民結婚的規定中還有:
                  Certificate of decent occupation or reliable income.

              The answer your husband get from CIC is that if you come to Canada as a fiancee, you need to get married within 90 days and mail the marriage certificate to CIC within 180 day. If you get marrried in China, just have your Chinese marriage certificate translated and notarized in notary office. I think you need 2 copies at least, one to mail to the Visa office with your application form, one to mail it to CIC when you arrive here.
