I'm now a permanent resident in Canada. I have a boy friend in China. I plan to marry him and
bring him to Canada. But I don't have a job now. neither am I a Student. will that affect the
application? The immigration office said that he can't apply for any welfare after landing. What
does that mean?

You don't have to possess a job to apply for Family class immigration. Yeah, he can't gain any welfare and you 're the one gonna supply him in 10 years. On the other hand, he has to leave Canada if you 2 divorce.
