There are two huge Chinese associations, one is called CSA (Chinese Student Association), another one is called Dimension. But there are also huge poiltical conflicts between these two associations. Although I'm in CSA, but I've never joint any of their activities except a dance last year. There is also another one called Chinese scholar or something association, but that one is very small. I think CSA is the biggest social club in the campus.

What's their conflicts? I'm interested in it. I'm aslo in CSA, but there are few speak mandarin. -smallwhale(小京); 2002-1-20 (#341329@0)

Last year Dimension organized a dance and usually dance was organized by CSA. So I think that started the whole thing. The execs of the two clubs have a huge arguments. And then ever since, CSA is trying to knock off Dimension and Dimension is trying to knock off CSA. Dimension publishes newspaper, CSA execs would pick up all their newspaper from SLC and dump them. CSA put up their banner in SLC, dimension will grab them down and put up theirs. There are lots lots of these small things.

You know, politics are politics.

So my friend quit as an exec and most of us who know these things never participate in CSA again.
