本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛Called the CS department academic consellor and registrar office of UWO, was told that as I have already a Bachlor's degree from China, my application will automatically be considered as a "special student", which can move up at the 4th year to "Diploma of Honored Standing". Master study is also an option given completion of the 3rd year study as CS special student. When I asked them if I can "speed up" my "special student" study and finish all the courses earlier(like your case), the UWO registrar told me that "I don't think so". I am puzzled. I wonder how is the situation in your case, was it in the faculty/department level, there are more flexibility to study "faster"? Or did you get any special permmssion? And, as a special student at UWO, when can I switch to Master study? Do I have to finish all courses stipulated for 4 years "special student" to be eligible for application, or can I already transit to Master study at completion of the 3rd year courses?
