    I met this problem in my office, and my email crushed for about 3 days, my system adminstrator tried to help me but he still no anwser, any high hands can help me? My network path is OK and Internet is OK, only email!!
    • 先ping一下你的exchange服务器,然后试试看telnet他的110和25端口,如果正常,基本上是你的outlook有问题,如果不正常,是服务器的问题. -fire(Fire); 2002-2-14 (#368508@0)

          Kidding，每次看到系统最后无可奈何的让我联络系统管理员，我就生闷气。

          如果其他人的Outlook都没问题，说明问题出在你的机器上。那你就在你的机器上重装一下Outlook，也许管用。再不行就重装系统，反正不能让你的系统管理员闲着。这是他的工作。:P
    • 找另外一台机器，用你的USRID LOGIN，试试这台机器上的OL到你的信箱成不成，如果没问题，谁也甭找了，重装OL吧，如果还有问题， -rootbear(啤酒晕头); 2002-2-14 {15} (#369453@0)

        The action could not be completed.

        3rd: (will be a card of Microsoft Sever, let user to input the right sever name and mailbox name, after that click the button of check name or OK) Unable to open your default email folder, the information store could not be opened.

        4th Msg: Would you like to open your default File System folder instead? (If I choose yes, it will lead me to the My Computer in the Out Look frame, if I click no, )

        5th Msg: Please wait while Out Look exiting.

          questions
          1. what version is ur outlook? if not xp, is it running in corporate mode or internet mail only mode?
          2. what version is ur exchange server?
          3. what os r u running?
          4. have u logged into ur domain, not ur local computer?
          5. can u try to the following ways to access ur exchange mailbox, IMAP4, POP3 and OWA?
          • 1. Outlook 2000, I do not know the mode, probably coperate mode. 2. Exchange 5.0, I guess. 3. Windows 2000. 4. Domain. 5. I don't know. -pyramid(金字塔); 2002-2-15 {212} (#370264@0)
            Thank you very much for your help, my administrator will work over time this weekend to fix my problem, I hope he will not reinstall the OS completely. This is good chance for him to earn overtime money, I guess.

          let your administrator check the premission in Exchange server,make sure u have promession in domain,or some files.

          1. right clike outlook, go to properties, click add, choose personal address book, then try to find your path for *.pab file. Usually it is locatedat C:\data\outlook\userid.pab

          2. go to perpoties, click exchange server, try to verify if you get right user name on it.

          that is all I think. I don't it is a big deal. take it easy
