It does have CNBC, and more than 900 other channels, news, finance, movie, sports, pay per view, adult, etc. everything,. It's a good investment, but you must be very careful if you go for DTV...

DTV, Direct TV, or called DSS,$250-$299 for English/French channels, >$300, add some Chinese channels.

Installation fee, anything between $80-$100, but if your card gets hit, you have to pay re-programming charge, $10-25, quite tricky, hm.
if your card gets hit, you can program card yourself. save your money.

hack hardware is not free. but hack software can be free. if u want to get it, tell me yr type of receiver and HU card. please send it to me by email.
