    In English, there are similar idioms. Surprisingly, it is so simple: I don't want to rob Peter to pay Jerry. If we are doing a project with Sailor and Ji-Ang and some people suggest asking Sailor to join Ji-Ang, I may refuse this way: No, no, we cannot rob Sailor to pay Ji-Ang. What I mean is that Sailor has his own duty and we cannot re-assign him without much consideration.

              我想的是“拆东墙，补西墙”，“拉东补西”。对这个意思的表达，我觉得还是中文简洁。

              回帖的目的，仅仅想讨论语言问题。

          反正，我竊以爲。語言就是一種工具。用起來不用那麽頂真就好了。
          所以有的時候我圖快，寫了很多錯別字，也懶得改，但是我還是由衷的認爲漢語是最最高級的語言，西西！
