I am afraid you can't. Those patches like Windows 2000 SP1 and Office SR-1 are all web based, so-called auto update. Or, you have to order their update CD.

If it is for Office 2000 SP1 it is still available for download from Microsoft.

The downlaod size is tens of MB. It does not look like an update redirector. I'm downlaoding SP2 now to see if it redirects. I'll keep you updated.

Yes, you're right. The Office Service Pack Core update is automatically downloaded by o2ksr1a.exe. It is nowhere to be seen from Microsoft web site.
