I am a software engineer.Some expriences in java c/c++,unix and network.Now I plan to land ca.but I am not sure which city should I go?Toronto or Calgary?(I will with my family member togrther)Can your everyone give some suggestion?thanks a lot
I have never been to Calcary, but people say it is a good place, probably as good as, if not better than, Toronto. As a software specialist, I believe you can find a professional job anywhere.

TORONTO is always a right choice, in my point of view. It's a good place for IT guys and the life here is not so boring, especially when you are with all our FUBAIers.

certainly it will be more chance for job hunting.But I heared that Toronto is not so good as Calgary to live in.especally it is difficult to have the driver leaise.Also it is not as clean as Calgary.Is it true?
further more, the child education,the healthy care also the high price of renting house,compare with the Calgary,what do you think about these?
you have to get a job before you can really enjoy clean air, health care and easy drive license. without a job, life is only miserable.

the benefits you described for Calgary can be found in any remote city in China where you will never consider to go. Likewise, I will never go to calgary unless somebody gives me good money.

For me, if I couldn't find a job in Toronto, I would have to go to NewYork, where the rental is higher, life cost is higher, criminal rate is higher...but, more jobs. In North Amercia, without a job, you can only go back to China.
