      • in terms of....?
        • product 啊
          • hmm... interesting.. hardly I am using any IT products not invented in the western world... This could change for sure.. but not now..
            • the product here is not only limited in IT field
              • just wonder who invented LCD, plasma, digital camera, GPS, and even Viagra!
                • Do not you think without Oriental chasing behind, would they move fast
                  • I agree Japanese, Korean and Chinese have improved these technologies a lot. Look at the auto industry, who invented car? But who has the biggest market share? But I still think most new investion are from western world;
and eastern can make them better.
                    • it just need a few people for investing new thing, beside that, do you know even those company hiring oriental people a lot.
                      • I just checked the name of inventors; they are definitely western name but don't know if they had oriental research assistants/
    • humm.. that is why some of us don't worry about job outsourcing.
      • Many Indian people have a pretty good marketing machine with them
          • and it is..
              • Interesting. I got this for your link: "Your browser or operating system is not supported -- Microsoft". And I am using Chrome. :-)
    • Technical superior people should continue to do their technical job; whereas technical inferior one should doing something else. They may be good at marketing, managaing and other stuffs. Are you technical superior or inferior?
      • Are you architectural technical superior, market sensitive and business conscious?
        • I still try to find my position, a bit lost lately. But I am sure I am not technical superior.
          • In a small company, you need to be technical strong, in a big company, you need to be a technical problem solver, and political sensitive. If you work yourself, you need to have a strong personality, at least.
            • You are right about personality part, I had some major problems with my small business. I don't know if I should give up. I guess I don't have a strong personality.
              • You know what? Normally people have no idea in their mind whatsoever, you better believe yourself and know yourself firmer than know others, in some cases, I really mean. You MUST push things go, and you hear people applaud.
                • Thank you for your encouragement and I really need some now. Thanks again.
                  • We are all learning and praying..... A humble gesture here..
      • To a certain degree, this is true. But may not be fair.. I am NOT superior in either technologies or communications. But I have a good common sense and care for people. More importantly, I am happy most of the time and share it with others.
        • In the end, life is a comedy, not a tragedy, even though it absolutely SUCKS, which is arranged by GOD.
          • agreed. to have a simple mind is a bless.
            • Unfortunately most smart people don't have simple mind. They think too much!
              • I believe SIMPLYNESS is always the best strategy, and it helps you stay firm and take long. Other are tricks and traps, come / go / run around.
                Go to gym.:-)
                • on this topic, we are all on the same page. I like simple things too, as I can't understand anything more complex.
          • do you have any religious belief?
            • I am a religious person in heart, my own religion, my own God.
        • Fair? I recalled I went to an interview before Y2K, the manager asked me how much I want. I told her a number. She looked at me and said I asked 3 times more than she earned. Guess what I told her.
I asked her if Michael Jordan earned more than his manager. It was all supply and demand. She actually left the company later and get another high pay job somewhere else. I heard she retired in US with a farm now.
    • Have you studied Gresham's law? or "Bad money drives out good." An very interesting phenomenon that can apply beyond just money.
