That was the data of Year 2007, and I believe now is higher. Actually one of my friends worked at RCMP after she got the librarian degree from UBC. She earns the officer ranking salary plus the master degree differencials. The salary grows every year, and the benefit is very good, especially the retirement package will be decent. Both the couple work decent job. They are still renting now for saving for more down payment. Buying a home in Vancouver won't be a problem for them as long as they are healthy and keep work going. The most important thing is they are happy with what they are prosseing now: good jobs, 2 adorable small kids and the friends arround. Work hard and enjoy life itself are the key.
        • i'd say this is for "library jobs" instead of "librarian jobs"
          • Generally speaking, the Liberians job pay is not as good as professionals in medical field, especially in the States.
For example, when you check up CNN money.com, Salary Wizard, the Liberian’s salary is from $47,947 to 63,375. To be compared, the Medical Dosimetry’s salary is from $81,591 to $97,046 (post university diploma training). I believe the Liberians are paid better in Canada than the States, and the better paid Liberians are required the master degree in Canada. Also, the better paid Liberian either has union, or works for the government.
