  • 工作学习 / 事业与工作 / First Job: Interview - Confidence (5)
    • very good. can't agree more..at the same time, arrogant is also an enemy
my first job interview failed at Canada, not because of technical or communication skills, but because of being arrogant as a young graduate. New Bridge gave me an interview at Ottawa, everything went extremely well... at the end of the interview, one interviewer asked my opinion of working in QA team. I rejected right away by saying that was not in my interest and would not consider such exchange.
      • Thanks. Not sure if rejecting a QA assignment is arrogant. I suspect they simply picked a toad over a kitten.
        • The interviewer's face color changed after hearing my response. She said she started as a QA and moved on to the development team and no work was boring in her company. LOL
      • You made the right decision. If you don't like or don't want to pursue something that doesn't interest you why not say no?
In Canada / in Ottawa would be more appropriate.
    • Very well said! I loved all the articles you've posted. Thanks for sharing of your insights.
      • I'm glad you like them. Sometimes I feel maybe nobody cares.
