  • 工作学习 / IT杂谈 / This might be a very stupid question, but I really need answer.......
Waht is the difference between OCP on Oracle 8 and Oracle 8i?
Is the 8i for internet only?

    thanks a lot
    • Stupid answer to stupid question: :-):-)
I don't see any difference there. The bgig difference between Oracle 8 and 8i is on supporting object-oriented database. Hope some Oracle experts can illuminate us.
      • Oracle 8 also support object-oriented database. xixi.
        • I think I am wrong here. What I meat is the difference between Oracle 7 and 8.*. Thank you, Duck.
    • No, ORACLE 8i provides a runtime environment for Java, which means that Java code can be executed in the database server. You can use the Java programming language as an integral part of Transact-SQL. This is ORACLE8i 's hot point.
