  • 枫下沙龙 / 休闲娱乐 / 昨天朋友开车带着去了一趟大瀑布，场面当然很壮观，可是和想象中的还有一段距离，大瀑布也不过如此而已。倒是赌场颇具吸引力，玩了将近2个小时，虽然开始小赢了几把，最后还是输了个血本精光，终于体会到资本主义糜烂的生活了。 -camwood(camwood); 2001-5-6 (#62400@0)

        The rainbow above the fall is really amazing!

        There're many visitors but you don't feel crowded.

        Unlike most tourist-actracting places in China, in NF you feel very relax and safe, no begger, no kids trying to cheat you, no sky-rocketting prices and no fear on being robbed or theft.

        BTW, I didn't go to the casino, I cared my money too much and I didn't believe I had good luck then. :-)

            is at Canadian side for the horse shoe (the most zhuang guan) view, and as a whole, Ca side is much better.

              很恐怖的是，很多人钻进木桶或别的自行研制的设备从上面摔下去，有人成功有人失踪，这不是玩命吗？

              很有趣的是，美国人当年把美国瀑布断流，希望把下面挖深一些，让美国瀑布和加拿大瀑布一样壮观，结果断流后，发现如果把下面挖了，地质松动，上面就会倒了，只好放弃。另外的收获就是下面有两句殉情的尸体和无数的硬币。

              很遗憾的是，为了发电，现在瀑布的流量只有真正流量的一半，另外一半都从下面冲发电机去了。所以现在的瀑布远不如原来壮观。有人建议每年让瀑布不发电，全流量奔腾咆哮一回，让游客过过瘾，但担心会冲走瀑布下面的所有设施，被放弃~~~

              很吸引人的是瀑布下游，那里记载着多少万年前瀑布走过的路，瀑布现在仍然在倒退，最后会退进大湖消失掉，人们还有多少年可以看到大瀑布?这是地质学家特别感兴趣的话题。

              美国那边有个雕像，水利发电征服大瀑布的第一人！猜猜是谁？
