    我跳槽到国内一家美资软件公司，不到一年提拔为项目经理，经过几个项目的磨练，各方面发展空间都较大，工作得很辛苦，但心情愉快。现在申请移民，我倒不怕从头开始，但听说中国人不管多出色，都没有太多向上发展的空间。sailor, 不晓得你了解的真实情况是否这样

      I've just been here for less than one year. Maybe what I know is not the whole truth.

      As I feel, the racial discrimination here is far more less than in China. If one has good ability, of course he will obtain promotion, or he will "jump" away for a better job. If that's the case, the boss must feel very painful because every boss wants to keep his good employees.

      As a result, if you have the SAME qualification, you will certainly be promoted.

      You may also notice that the word "qualification" does not mean only technical aspect. To be a team leader, you should have good communication skill, management skill, and much more.

      If you work in a small company, I think you will have relatively big room.
      I worked in headquart of Royal Bank ( The biggest bank in Canada), I noticed that there were many project managers are chinese. But you should have a good mastery of English.
