  • 相约北美 / 移民留学 / hi numnum, you said you were a founder of a company. what is kind position u hold? CEO? just curious.
    • numnum, could you help me find a job in your company? thanks!
      • I think numnum is more than willing to give help. However,
he has his boss to report to, and he need to be responsibile to his job, just like anyone else. Hence it is unrealistic to ask him to hire any specific candidate. Maybe you waht you can do is to ask him to check your resume or give you advice.

        Good luck
        • i see. i have more than 5 years experience in data communication area. i am familiar with OSPF, TCP/IP, MPLS and SNMP. do you know the website or name of his company? thanks!
          • sorry, i don't know. it seems very interesting that you know so many protocols. To be more specific, you may want to indicate if your experience is
in Software Engineering or Wan/Lan management. They are quite different.
            • I am software engineer. I have solid experience in application layer and device driver. i am familiar with ATM, Frame Relay and Ethernet. Thanks!
              • cool, you will be fine. good luck.
                • who know the website or the name of numnum's company???
        • Thanks for jiang's explanation
      • Actually, last year I was desperately looking for some guys with good background in RTOS for my project, yet I couldn't get anyone, I ended up implementing the whole thing with overloading everybody in the project .
A couple of months ago we have frozen head count, but it looks better now. Too bad I am leaving for another location in US because
I have finished my project here. But your credentials look very promising,
leave me your email address, or send your resume to me, I really like the keyword "OSPF, MPLS, andSNMP". Man, I would die for this kind of resumes if it were last year.
        • thanks numnum, by the way, could you tell me your company website? i will send your my resume soon.
    • hi, nimnim, haha, very interesting name. I am the senior architect in the company now.
I don't actually have anyone to report to besides the president&CEO of the company.I don't hold any administrative position, because I was the founding engineer of the company. A founding engineer is one of the several technical guys who have developed the idea of forming the company and have developed and implemented the very first product for the company. As an architect, you don't want to stray too far from techincal stuff. So usually company hires somebody with good business background as VP or directors.
      • Oh... as my knowledge, if the guy is a FOUNDER of the company, his/her position must be at least VP. just 2 cents.
      • numnum, how many people in your company? less than 5 or 10? generally, A SENIOR architect will not directly report to the president&CEO of his company.
