        I don't know why you'd say that. I never felt the same way. Yes, I agree that there are Chinese everywhere, and a lot of them are singles. But I don't see many 鲜花. Most of the immigrants came here are quite old alreay, so many of them are married already and came with wife/husband and their children. The singles are of the same age, so you can imagine the situation. As single women, they are not 鲜花 anymore. Many of them were not 鲜花 at the first place. And many of them are divorced, some even have children.
        There are two reasons why a woman who's never married hasn't settled at such age: she is either too picky and missed her best time which is 23 or 24, or she is not attractive.
        There are many young students there. Among them there are some 鲜花, but not many.

      You should give us more information about yourself, then we can give you more detailed and relevant answers, right?
      Some say you're such a good girl, should be popular here. I don't know how they got this conclusion. The only thing they know about you is that you're 22 (young). Tall or short? Pretty or not? ... You didn't say.
      If you're coming to study with a student visa (I figure it's very likely because you're quite young) want to find a boyfriend with PR to help you with your status or take care of you, then I just want to tell you, there are just too many young girls and boys like you here.
      Needless to say, only the pretty ones are easy to be successful.
      There are many singles here, men or women, -- thanks to the Canadian immigration policy of recent years, but good ones (I mean really suitable ones for both sides) are rare.
      Singles have a lot of chanes to meet other singles here, but they are always searching ... I don't know when he or she can really find a mate for life. There are many reasons, such as what Jeffshine said.
      May all the singles who dream to find their another half in Canada realize their wishes.
