Domino is the new name of the former Lotus Notes server from version 4.5 on. And they only call the client side as Notes now. There is a Lotus Smart Suite which is something similar to MS Office. It's totally different from Domino/Notes.

MS-backoffice is similar with lotus/domino. right?

no....the competor of Notes from MS side is Exchange....though their usages are not perfect matched....maybe your saying is more reasonable...hoho....
