    I have got LP now and I am planning to land Canada in a few month.I want to study something these month and I don't know which one is better, can you tell me??
    WAN area: like ATM. FR....
    LAN area: like Unix NT or Linux...

        Since we have some visitors who are not familiar with IT terminology, I would like to
        try to explain ATM here. ATM is short for Asynchronous Transfer Mode. It is called also Cell Switching. It is a high-speed transfer system designed to carry voice, video, and data traffic. ATM switches can simultaneously support multiple transmissions, eliminating bottlenecks.

        Interestingly enough, ATM is also acronym for
        Automatic Teller Machine (Qu Kuan Ji in Chinese, a machine from which you can draw money if you insert a right bank card).
        So ATM means different things for IT people
        and for financial professionals.

      IP is the standard to provide service, but ATM is a good tech on the core transmission, fast switching.So Ip over ATM, IP over SONET/SDH,all are good. The most important thing is you should be very very good at at least one of them.
