      In the production environment, few companies use Linus. The reason is that people still lack trust on Linus. If a company
      needs support for linus, it usually does not know whom to contact. But things will be changing---IBM has decided to push Linus.
      IBM asks all of its products be able to run at Linus. It is a credit for you to be able to play with Linus, but do not overstate it as you hunt for jobs.

          choose Linus. Yes, Individuals like you and me can get support and help from Internet. But enterprises can not depend upon a group of volunteers. If you are really good at
          Linus, you skills will be useful gradually.
          Let me say again: Technical Support is much more important than the money spent upon buying several machines. If you look into those Fortune 500 companies, most of them adapt IBM products. Why? they believe IBM's technical support. Here is a story: One company built an EJB site using BEA's Weblogic and Oracle 8i but the performace is poor. As they contacted BEA people, they
          were told WebLogic was No1. EJB container vendor, and it was likely something was wrong with DB. As they contacted Oracle...
