how much money do you want to spend? My opinion, buy used car which is less than 5-6 years old will make you more comfortable, safty and less worry.

For buying a JP car, you spend more money when you buy it, but you get more money when you sell it. It's usually much reliable and drinks less gas.
Japaness cars last longer and is more reliable, all my colleagues like Japaness car. Try the reputable dealer, like "Honda dealer", the other crapy dealers are low quality, I don't want to buy from the crapy dealers.
