there is transaction fee everything you pay money from your bank card.....
but you can call your bank for a better rate of each transaction. namely pay a fixed amount of money for a certain amout of transactions.

My friend told me that too..but when I talked to the staffs in Royal bank, I was told I have to pay for each transaction. so I applied telephone finance (3.00 bucks for free telephone finance + 15 free transactions)..could you confirm that?
Yes, I am using the bank card of TD bank. It changes you $0.40 for each purchase if your deposit is under 1000. Sorry I don't know the information of other banks.

Scotia bank has a type of chequeing account that will charge you fees if you have more than 2 transactions with the branch teller. All other types of transactions (debit card, ATM, web banking) no charge.
