          An idea came to my mind recently -- It's possible to enrol in US and select the most suitable major -- if u r single and ready to move. RRP is the only issue. It's true what u said. With strong background, one could even apply straight for PhD without a master degree.

            • Returning Resident Permit is what one must have to stay outside canada longer than 183 days. To me university application is the most tough thing, even harder than PR. Just keep going and going... -ccb(Nestea); 2001-6-8 (#95358@0)

    • 不见得. 加拿大有些专业不是所有大学都有, 有时只有一所大学提供, 你又可能嫌太远不肯去. 美国有很多野鸡大学什么专业都有, 骗你学费而已. -skybook(Skybook); 2001-6-9 {186} (#95587@0)
      比如你要到多伦多大学读兽医连门都没有, 只能去SASKATCHEWAN. 全加拿大一个兽医系足够了 - 不过那可是全世界排名前三位的兽医系. 即使是美国名校很多热门专业也不见得都提供, MIT就没有医学和法学.
