      I travelled prior to joining Aeroplan, are these flights eligible for
      mileage accumulation?

      Answer
      Since January 1, 1997, new members can only receive credit for flights
      taken as of their enrollment date. Customers can now register in our
      program at the airport, via our web site or by calling our Customer
      Service Centre, subsequently processing delays have been reduced
      dramatically and our retroactive policy discontinued.
