Use your soundcard, record it as a wav file.

I used to copy audio tapes with two walkmans, connecting the output of one with the input of the other using a very simple self made cable, many many years ago when I was at university in China.

I got a much better idea: Buy a two cassett recorder from a large store (Wal-Mart, etc.). Copy your tape. Then return it to the store during the required time.
