POSITION :
Electrical Engineering/Maintenance Manager
JOB OVERVIEW :
Achieve targets given by superior and maintain the management goals with a full
understanding health and safety, company policies, procedures and operating
philosophies while operating within OHSA, ESA, WSIB and THSAO. Create and
maintain electrical standards for existing and new business. Develop new equipment
and continual improvements as required. Oversee all company Maintenance functions.
Prepare and maintain budget. Prepare input analysis for new business and participate
as required.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES :
Current Business
(1) React to any H & S concerns in a timely manner with due diligence
(2) Develop and maintain all electrical standards and processes.
(3) Develop and maintain budget
(4) Maintain uptime on equipment through PM program.
(5) Assist in productivity improvements and defect reduction as required.
(6) Oversee Maintenance Personnel and activities while staying within collective
agreement.
(7) Oversee Labor analysis
New Business
(1) Prepare equipment and process quotations and process analysis as required.
(2) Acquire quotations as requested.
(3) Travel as needed.
(4) Prepare and maintain all pertinent documentation as required.
(5) Communicate with Customers/Suppliers as necessary.
Others
(1) Other duties as required.
