The GPS on my cellphone does not say that!
With the GPS technology, the "up-to-date" equator line is about 200 metres away. This is a solar clock set up on that line.
On the equator line, you can do some interesting experiments. For example, are you able to stand a raw egg on the top of a nail?
It's said that it's easier to do so on equator!
