  • Should Canada adopt Turks and Caicos as its 11th province? +1
    • yes!
    • As I knew, +1
many Canadians are expecting to have the beautiful islands - a warmer and sunny place adopted by Canada as the islands side proposed, even though the total area is tiny. But I also wish that the future costs for me to go there for vacations would still be affordable but not jump to too high upon the completion of the adoption process.
      • As we don't need a visa to visit Caribbean countries, it's not really meaningful to annex T&C for vacation reason. What makes sense is that Canadians can "domestically" relocate to T&C once it's part of Canada. +1
        • Agree. What I concern about is the future cost of living there. Housing there could be very expensive by then,
since many migrants and investors might rush to buy properties there but the land could be used for building houses or apartments is very limited.
