I don't think you'll get the help. You need to indicate how important to your boss. How serious to him if they are not completed on time. How this impact to the department and company's reputation. Otherwise, your boss will not care.

没看明白你具体的工作量和难易性，也不知你要对付的老板是vp or director, 所以不好说是不是管理问题。如果内心感到压力太大又没耐心等待翻身，炒老板鱿鱼是个办法。好聚好散，不要拖到让自己和老板都难受，这样对面试和reference check都不利。
