I become a ETF fan recently. Check out the materials sector ETF on iShare.ca. If you expect to flip it in a year or two, ETF is really flexible.

Simply put ETF is an index fund that you can trade like stocks. Because it is a passive strategy (indexing), it has a very low management expense ratio (usually between 0.5% to 1%), there is no “load” and no early redemption charge.

For pure resource ETFs, check iShares website. As well Canada and Australia country ETF is heavily weighted in resources.
