昨天参加了Geneva centre for Autism international Symposium。 上午的keynote speakers, 不太有兴趣。 下午，我选的session by Dr. Tony Attwood was beneficial.
一个半小时他讲了很多，记住了一点点：
For kids with asperger:
• Don’t use punishment, use logic
• One to two hours of CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) per week is required for the benefit of the kids
• Cat is the autistic dog
• …..
我还有幸得看见Dr. Temple Grandin who did not have speech at young ago. Now she is a high functioning autistic and a multimillionaire.
She said never take away your kids talent and interest away as punishment.
