Yesterday, from the radio, I heard that two teenagers were found dead in the heavy bush, and the man-hunting was over.
Does anyone care about this news? I do, and I've been following up the news since I was heard from the radio that the pair suspects killed three people and was at large. I don't know why they killed people, why they found dead in the bush. They were so young, 18 and 19 years old. They must be panic and didn't know what to do. Did they suicide? What happened? Why? No answer forever. They died. I was left with sadness and confusion.
I didn't speak in favour of them. It seems to me that they were normal kids before they left home for finding job, not very bad, not very good, just like neighbour kids around you. Something happened and made them out of track.
It reminds me of the movie Thelma and Louise. Two friends embark on a road trip with unforeseen consequences. Unlike the movie, we would never know the truth. The truth exists, but it's unknown.
Five lives were gone. So sad.
