Interestingly, there is a place in BC called Hope. The gas in Hope is cheaper too. :)

Gas is always more expensive in big cities. As soon as you drive outside of the city(where no more rows of rows of houses), the price will go down.

Quote: Many cars, motorcycles, boats, aircraft and tools have engines that run worse, or have parts that deteriorate, when run on gasoline that contains ethanol. In addition, ethanol leaves residue on valves and other parts that can hinder performance.

shell, esso不都是连锁的么,怎么会有些加油站是纯的,有些不是?难道某些加油站单独order pure gas?

I use Shell 91 for my lawnmawer and others where the gas may have to sit for awhile before all used up. Ethanol is bad news for if the gas have to sit as it will turn to globs and with prolonged use can corrode metal parts of the fuel system.
