  • Swimwear model responds after body-shamers criticize cellulite: 'Being beautiful is about being kind' #fitness
    • I would say the girl is very brave. It's true that beauty can not be measured to one standard, +1
and health is more important than beauty. Judging people by their appearance isn't polite, unless the judgement are necessary and required by some special professions, or requested by the objects being judged.
      • I've been to many beaches. I found that many girls in developing countries didn't have the chance to develop any cellulite. It's about how much one eats.
        • It's a systematic and long term run to make the changes, including the culture customs, aesthetic pursuit, lifestyle, living condition, etc. +1
        • Unfortunately 80-90% of women will develop cellulite. See this link
          • 80-90% of American women. A side effect of A rich country with too much food, too little self-discipline in diet. :)
            • I didn't read all the details from the link. Hopefully the statistical result was obtained based on a special group of women only, but not all groups of women. I know as people get older, more and more unexpected health issues will be developed usually.
              • That's true. Also that's the reason why people should take care of their own health, e.g. do yoga. :D +1
                • I guess you are doing very well on yoga. Do you coach yoga as well?
                  • I only do it myself, don't have any teaching qualification. :)
        • Is this topic also associated with the topic of limited nutrition in the Chinese Version (should limited nutrition be first used for brain development or for physical development)?
          • To be honest, I was surprised when I read that article, especially when I read that the person was only 21 years old. I got lots of thoughts.
            • Oh, now I know why you're so busy! πŸ˜‚
            • I hope people (including myself) can pay more attention to their health, and make more efforts to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
    • People do need to love themselves and be confident, while they strive to improve all aspects as much as they can. +1
    • But personally I am not good at viewing body arts. I usually do my best to avoid seeing them. I prefer to see people wearing enough to cover their body in public. +1
      • Right. Maybe the standard should be a bit higher for swimwear models? If not, everyone can be a swimwear model. :) +1
        • A little bit more of fabric should be used for the swimwear to support the fabric industry and comfort viewers' eyes😁. But it's not the models' fault. It's the designer's fault.πŸ˜‚
          • LOL
