  • A peek of Japan. A peek of Japan.
    • β—‹  It always puzzles me how Japan manages high population density with very few high-rise buildings, not sure if it has something to do with earthquake fears (considering its earthquake-prone geology).
      • β—‹  Japan is known for good management. From very small and detailed things you can feel it. Everything is highly organized.

    • β—‹  Wow! You have already enjoyed the time hanging out in a spring garden so early. Happy to see themπŸ˜„, especially after a long winter. Haha, attention please: if you showed me more beautiful gardens, I would like to fly✈ to there instantly!
      • β—‹  Sure! Welcome to visit Victoria!
        • β—‹  Thanks! Maybe someday I will visit Victoria to witness its beauty. 😊
        • ●  How would you welcome me? Would you allow me to visit your successful community vegetable garden? I promise I would not pick your produce, especially goji berries and yellow chives. πŸ˜πŸ˜‚
    • ●  Love to see them,

    • β—‹  Your time and effort are invaluable...I got a pair of Serengeti probably 10 years ago, slightly pricey but it is still with me.
      • β—‹  I know... this pair is 2500 rupees, (CAD $50), my most expensive sunglasses so far. Will see how much more time it survives. πŸ˜ƒ
    • ●  Oh, πŸ‘what a handyman! But I would strongly suggest you not to wear it, since the broken and fixed parts may hurt your facial skin. Sailor, get a new pair and don't let this broken sunglasses affect your mood.😊
      • β—‹  My skin is thick and tough. πŸ˜‚
        • β—‹  Sometimes my hands even got cuts by the sharp edge of a piece of printing paper or plastic package.
    • ●  Sailor, Serengeti sunglasses are on sale ($25 off) in Costco now till April 7. ☺
      • β—‹  Thanks for the information! :D
        • β—‹  You're welcome. Hope you can find the one you like.

    • β—‹  Good! What do you used to cover the garlic chives when you grow the yellow chives? Are the bean sprouts produced from your home as well?
      • β—‹  I covered it with a thick layer of leaves in fall. And yes, the sprouts are home-grown. :)

    • β—‹  Sad, but it was anticipated when the Liberal government opened the Pandora's box. It was not the first case, and won't be the last one.
      • β—‹  I feel very disappointed with the current loose policy on cannabis.
        • β—‹  It's outrageous
          • β—‹  Expecting positive changes on both the policy and atmosphere.

    • ●  Spring is so beautiful on the west coast. My two kids were born in Vancouver, during the beautiful month of April.
      • β—‹  Nice! I can imagine that spring or April always brings lots of happiness and good luck to you and your family. 😁
        • β—‹  Thanks. Indeed. That's how I got this ID, and have been sticking to it for years.
      • ●  Good for your family. I have only been to Vancouver for a very short time, and have never been to the surrounding cities and towns.
        • β—‹  Spring is the most beautiful season. I was going to school during those years. On my bus ride to school, my eyes were busy with the beautiful flowers from people's yards.
          • β—‹  πŸ‘Happy life, good memories! 😁
      • ●  I see... that's why your ID is april, and your nickname is also april. πŸ˜„πŸ˜„
      • ●  Spring is also my lucky season. I am very grateful to my parents for raising me and my brothers in that very difficult time.
    • ●  Things to do in Victoria
    • ●  As the city itself, I personally think spring is a good time. Summer is good too, very sunny but not hot.
      • β—‹  Thanks!
  • Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series, part 1 Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series, part 1
    • β—‹  Good job! I didn't learn yoga but I know these poses are not easy to make.
    • ●  Job well done! Have you ever thought about opening a yoga studio? IMHO,
      • β—‹  I may help others, to help each others, or to help them improve their yoga practice, but I don't think doing it as a business is sustainable. It's a lot easier to make money as a software developer. :D
    • ●  Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series, part 2
      • β—‹  It seems that some of these poses are the same as the Sun Salutation B., right?
        • β—‹  Yes. That move is called vinyasa.
          • β—‹  Thanks!
      • ●  Is there any relationship between Ashtanga yoga and Sun Salutation? Or, are they just two separate ones?
        • β—‹  Ashtanga Yoga is a style; Sun salutation is a combination of moves.
          • β—‹  I see. Thanks!
    • ●  Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series, part 3
    • ●  Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series, part 4
      • β—‹  Totally shocked! How many series and how many parts of yoga do you have performed so far?
        • β—‹  There are four series: primary, secondary, advanced 1, and advanced 2. I'm still working on primary.
          • β—‹  Thanks for sharing! You have done an excellent job! Could I know how many hours per day in average do you take for yoga? BTW, did you do sea salt treatment for your new yoga mat before using it?
            • β—‹  Now I spend around 2 hours per day to finish a primary series. Yoga mat treatment: never heard about that. I don't think it's necessary. Long time ago yogis practiced on very simple cotton rugs.
              • β—‹  Thanks! 😁
              • ●  I would say you are a well self-disciplined person and you have very strong perseverance. πŸ‘πŸ‘
          • ●  Wow! In my impression, you have already reached a high mountain. But there are even higher mountains beyond a high mountain! Keep up your good work!
      • ●  I would ask you another question: beyond the benefits on physical abilities, have you actually felt any other benefits such as on spirit and mind, etc., with your every progress on different levels of yoga? Sorry to bother you so much. Appreciate your sharing and inspiring!
        • β—‹  Honest I am not aware of my own spirit or mind. I may have changed, like anyone else. I'm not able to tell what contribute to my change.
          • β—‹  Thanks!

      • β—‹  Not yet
    • ●  It's cherry blossoms? Seems very early.
      • β—‹  Either plum or cherry blossom. I cannot tell the difference. :)
        • β—‹  You don't follow up their fruits in summer, are you?
          • β—‹  Nope. The birds do it.
        • ●  To find their differences, refer to this link.
          • β—‹  Thanks!
      • ●  They are plum blossoms, I think.
        • β—‹  Ok thanks!
    • ●  The little smiling flower logo of Rolia looks just like the plum blossoms with 5 petals. Is my understanding correct?
      • β—‹  Yup! Plum blossom is a symbol of Chinese. :)
        • β—‹  Yeah, Mei Hua, or plum blossom symbolizes perserverance, hope, beauty, and purity.

    • ●  Its name is Purslane, Portulaca oleracea L., Little Hogweed, and Ma Chi Xian (in China). I have just learnt that Hogweed is another different plant. Hogweed is an invasive, dangerous and toxic plant. See this link for Hogweed.

      • β—‹  Yes. It seems that getting a new special visa will be as simple as a registration. The main purpose is for easier tracking.

    • β—‹  Of these 20 islands, I visited Palawan, Philippines, Santorini, Greece, Bali, Indonesia (3 times), Ko Phi Phi, Thailand (2 times), Boracay, Philippines so far.
      • β—‹  Wow! Good for you.
      • ●  Which ones of them do you like the most?
        • β—‹  It's hard to say which one I like the most, each of these islands has it's unique beauty. If I get the chance I'm willing to visit any of them again.
          • β—‹  So they are all very beautiful but in different styles. πŸ‘πŸ˜
            • β—‹  That's right.
      • ●  Wow! I've only been to Bali, but haven't found the truly impressive part. :)
        • β—‹  You traveled a lot of islands in the Philippines, but not Boracay and Palawan?
          • β—‹  I only visited Bohol and Cebu islands. :)

      • β—‹  Should go next time!
        • β—‹  Suggest you to get a ranking list first before you make your next traveling plans. 😁
        • ●  Around the Coron Island, there are some world-renowned scuba diving sites, especially those well-preserved World War II Japanese shipwrecks for wreck diving.
