To learn VB, you should go to advanced level: Creating classes, Creating Active X,
Doing DCOM.... I met some VB programmers from China. They just know creating some Forms, but that's only a small part of VB.

The most important thing is that you have
true skills in some fields. I am suspicous
that you can learn both Java and VB at the same time.
