My Career at CIS Insurance Brokers Ltd.

CIS Insurance Brokers was founded in Toronto in 1988. The company represents over 10 insurance companies, including four of the largest ten general insurance companies and the largest life insurance company in Canada. CIS offers a full range of insurance coverages, including homeowners, automobile, commercial, life, travel, critical illness and disability. CIS is looking for young and talent insurance brokers join us.

Primary Responsibilities:
Sell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients, retain existing book of business
Quote new business through outbound call initiatives, referrals, networking, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
Contact Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policies
Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewals
Keep current on underwriting rules and work flow processes
Actively participate in training initiatives

Skills and Experience:
RIBO License required
Strong customer focus and sales skills
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong Technical Skills
Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills
Fluent in a second language is an asset (Mandarin, Cantonese)
