我爱我家

一个13 岁的中国小孩写的英文诗，试意译之。古人说，翻译如同女人，漂亮的女人不忠实，忠实的女人不漂亮。诗
是不能翻译的，信然。
《My Family》
My family is a used car
Not the best， not the worst
Managing to always move forward
My father is a V8 engine
Pushing us forward through tough times
My mother is the headlights
Foreseeing the future， planning ahead
And I am the fuel
Slowly running out leaving the family

我爱我家兮，三人相从依。
虽小少富丽，亦蔽风雨袭。
还如二手车，虽旧奔不息。
阿爸为引擎，任苦劳不已。
阿母如车灯，操持无巨细。
我如驱车油，爹娘多希翼。
明日燕巢空，爹娘更何倚？
