they will probably need to drill a hole, pull the fibre thru and place the modem close to the hole. 802.11ac has more than enough bandwidth to cover the whole house, no need of wired Ethernet. The bottleneck is probably old WIFI adapters or old cell phones ( older than iPhone 6s) themselves that don't support 11ac...if you have older WIFI devices that run legacy 802.11a/b/g protocols, it could slow down the whole wifi network of your house
