Usually, I don't want to offer advice for others
if they need to make a decision baout their life. Since you are persistent in asking my opinions, I have to tell you my opinion.
1) Going through 3-4 year's college training is wasting your time. If I were you, I would not pursue a degree in computer science.
2) Learning Java is not enough for job hunting. Without guidance, 70% of people cannot succeed in self-teaching Java or other technologies. Attending training center courses does not help you much. If you meet a trainer like me, you may benifit a lot.
3) In desiging your life, your financial status is extremely important. It is infeasible for you to afford the tuition by doing generic labor in Canada. I sugguest you research the feasibility to become a Java or Oracle programmer in one year.
4) I hope I am not misleading you.
