In the first one 60% people believe hosting Olympic is A great source of national pride. The second one tells us that 76% of the voters think the decision to award the 2008 Olympics to Beijing is disappointing.
What do they tell us??? Hosting Olympic is a great opportunity and they dont want to see China to has this opportunity. Americans are full of resentiment about everything in happened China. They are getting more and more neverous. The reason is very simple. They are afraid of losing. They used to be too good to lose even a small thing.
While I am not saying that Chinese human right condition is satisfactoy, but the victory of Beijng clearly tells a fact that in this world more and more people dont buy the American style of HUMAN RIGHT! That's it!
