I like Discovery a lot when I was in China, but didn't watch one episode from beginning to end here, mainly because I can't learn English from those moneys and dolphins. (Sorry monkey lovers:-) ) One tip to share: If you are buying a video player, get one with "commercial advance". This function will automatically skip the commercials during replay. Now I watch everything on tape.

Fraser is a very witty series, I think this is the other end of "British Style" humor as opposed to Mr. Beans, but I found the characters too distant from daily life.

I subscribed to the Star for a while, but now I only buy the Sat. Star for $1.50, which gives me a TV guide.
