Lucy, a claims adjuster for Global Operations Corp., has had a bad morning. She comes back to her desk after lunch and checks her e-mail. She slams her hand on her desk in disgust as she reads an e-mail from Morey, her supervisor.
Lucy replies to Morey’s e-mail as follows: “Are you paying any attention? Didn't I tell you just this morning that Ms. Smith is a liar? All the claims she’s submitted are falsified. She is the biggest liar I’ve seen in 20 years.”
