The test was changed by Sun in Oct. this year. They enlarge the database content of questions. And the test time reduced from 120 min to 90 min. Totally there are 59 questions(most are choice questions). If one can answer over 61% correctly, he/she passs it.

All questions are about basic principles of java. One shoud understand them clearly and throughly. But the test doesn't have relation with anvanced java programming. It is a entry level test.

If one is a programmer before(especially for those C++ expert), it is not difficult for him/her to pass it. If one has no background of programming, it is not easy.

But I think that this certificate is not enough. There sill are too many things to do beyond it.
