Last time, I spent $10 to check the car's history from SGI (Saskatchewan Government Insruance Company, the only car insurance company in Saskatchewan). They just provided such kind of information: "this car is a most recently registered in Saskatchewan". Then I wonder where the carfax got the information? I think only the local insurance company has it. So I don't think they have more information than locoal insurance company. If the car is transfered from one province to another, then carfax will get more information on it? I am not sure.
