The not-for profit, East-York based agency offers services for teens and young adults as well as newly-arrived immigants who are seeking assistance in finding employment in Canada.

The WoodGreen Community Centre holds three weekly workshops covering skills assessment, resume and cover-letter preparation, and interview skills at its Youth Job Centre office on Danforth Ave. near Donlands subway station.

WoodGreen offers help to immigrants who are new to te Canadian employment market. The centre provides classes dubbed Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada, as well as employment seminars for immigrants, advocacy programs and recreational outlets at the community centre's Queen St. location.

Finally, participants in the employment programs have free access to fax machines, computers, phones and voice mail.
